In this workshop participants will discover ways to achieve high-quality, consistently stained slides for diagnoses through the optimization of their Hematoxylin and Eosin processes. Leveraging advanced digital imaging technologies, she will demonstrate practical methods to achieve variation in staining intensities, utilizing visual stain. Students will learn differentiating features of progressive and regressive stains, best practices for balancing Hematoxylin and Eosin timing in their protocols, as well as tips on identifying the best protocols for specific specimen types and laboratory workflows.
