Application and Workflow Specialist

Christine Easson is currently an Application and Workflow Specialist with Dako/Agilent. Before starting this role, she served for nearly 10 years in technical support role. Before starting her career with Agilent, she spent the vast majority working in hospital laboratories, performing IHC, QA, Immunofluorescence, ISH, an so much more. A large part of the reason Ms. Easson made the transition from hospital to industry was because she – like many others, wanted new challenges and to keep learning. She found she was successfully able to do that in the technical support role. While she was in labs- teaching and learning, her knowledge evolved to include the workflow portfolio, with process observations and data analytics combining to form ideas for labs to improve the way they function to better achieve key metrics such as test result turn around time, instrument utilization, and continuous flow.
