This webinar will focus on troubleshooting artifacts that show up on H&E stained slides. There are so many variables in Histology that can lead to staining artifacts. It can take days, weeks and even months to resolve an issue. Patience is a virtue. Using specific examples I've witnessed in my career, I will show stained slide artifacts and explain the process used to come to a resolution. After this webinar you will have a better understanding of troubleshooting and will know where to begin the next time a staining artifact shows up on your H&E slide.
CEUs: This histology course is worth 1 continuing education credit. Course is available for 365 days from date of purchase.

Histology Team Lead
Children's Wisconsin
In my current role as Team Lead, I am responsible for all day to day operations in a pediatric Histology lab. I have been in this role for ten years. In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I also spend a good portion of my time working on the bench. I feel it is extremely important to stay connected to the work you do. I have had endless opportunities for career growth. Building an immunohistochemistry department and a Fine Needle Aspiration service are two of my greatest accomplishments in my current role. I also have eleven years of experience in an adult Histology lab. My passion is troubleshooting and CAP inspections.
