Early-career histologists may not necessarily understand the process and why compliance is so vitally important to a laboratory. This workshop is intended to shed light on the role of the CAP in accreditation. We will focus on the assurance of high-quality laboratory results through the checklist standards. We will review how these standards are created - and applied! - in the lab, and how compliance with these standards will impact how you manage your laboratory
