Dr. Van Airsdale will walk you through a patient’s story of delayed diagnosis, will revel the cause of the medical issue, and then a discussion on why it occurred and possible ways to prevent it in the future.

Lynn Van Airsdale, DO

LT Lynn Van Airsdale is a physician in the United States Navy, currently stationed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD.  She received her osteopathic medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA in 2018.  In 2019, she completed her Intern year in Family Medicine at the National Capital Consortium Family Medicine Residency at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, VA.  She was then stationed in Okinawa, Japan from 2019-2021, as the Battalion Surgeon for 7th Communication Battalion, which is a United States Marine Corps unit under the III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF).  She is currently in the General Preventive Medicine Residency at WRNMMC and working on her Master of Public Health (MPH) at the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences (USUHS).
